Implant surgical guide lab — printed from your CBCT and scan

Send a CBCT and an intraoral scan; we merge, plan with you, and print the guide.

What's included

CBCT + scan merge

We register your DICOM CBCT to the intraoral scan and flag anything that would compromise the merge before planning.

Plan review before printing

You approve implant position, angulation, and depth before a guide is printed — no surprises in the surgical chair.

Pilot or fully guided

Pilot-drill guides through fully guided sleeves, tooth-supported, tissue-supported, or bone-supported.

Printed in-house

Printed on biocompatible resin with sleeve seating verified before shipping.

Turnaround

Plan returned for review in 1–2 business days; printing and shipping follow approval.

Materials

Biocompatible printed resin with metal guide sleeves matched to your drill kit.

How the workflow runs

  1. 1

    Upload records

Send the DICOM CBCT series plus an STL/PLY intraoral scan of the arch and the opposing arch.

  2. 2

    Plan and approve

We return a plan for review. Nothing prints until you sign off on position and depth.

  3. 3

    Print and ship

Guide is printed, sleeves seated and verified, then shipped with a prepaid label.

We accept STL and PLY files from iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Medit, Primescan, and Carestream. Not scanning yet? A scanner can be fully reimbursed through monthly case credits.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to make a surgical guide?

A DICOM CBCT series and an STL/PLY intraoral scan of the surgical arch, plus the opposing arch and the implant system and drill kit you plan to use.

Do I approve the plan before the guide is printed?

Yes. We return the merged plan with implant position, angulation, and depth for your approval. Nothing prints until you sign off.

Can you make fully guided as well as pilot guides?

Both. We fabricate pilot-drill guides and fully guided sleeve designs, tooth-, tissue-, or bone-supported depending on the case.

How long does a surgical guide take?

The plan comes back for review in 1–2 business days. Printing and shipping follow your approval, so total time depends on how quickly the plan is signed off.

What if the CBCT and scan will not merge cleanly?

Scatter from existing restorations is the usual cause. We flag it before planning and tell you what additional record would fix it rather than printing an unreliable guide.

Which drill kits are supported?

Sleeves are matched to your kit. Tell us the implant system and drill kit with the case and we specify sleeves accordingly.
